The E15 sunglasses feature a mechanical yet laboratorial aesthetic. The pairs feature a rimless, shield style lens coming in black, green and iridescent colour ways and complete with 100% UV protection. The glasses also feature engine-like hardware to join the acetate temples to the glass and features purposefully exposed metal detailing throughout. Logo branding is at the inner temples sitting above a cut-out open grill and black arms, contributing to the sunglasses' distinctive and avant-garde aesthetic.
The Ruthenium used throughout the glasses is a rare transition metal (part of the platinum group in the periodic table). Similar to the other metals within this group, ruthenium exhibits inertness towards most other chemicals. Uses of materials like this truly encapsulates Kuboraum's commitment to innovation, design, and sustainability, offering wearers a piece of art and chemistry that goes beyond traditional eyewear boundaries.
